The Game
In Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition you'll explore the planes, survive combat alongside a party of unique companions, and solve puzzles unlike any ever seen in the genre.

The original Planescape: Torment was released in 1999 to widespread critical acclaim. It won RPG of the Year from multiple outlets for its unconventional story, characters, and amazing soundtrack. Since then, millions of Planescape: Torment fans have enjoyed exploring the strange and dangerous city of Sigil and surrounding planes.

Discover an incredibly rich story and a unique setting unlike anything else in fantasy. Defeat strange and alien creatures, engage in rich dialogue, and explore the dark and dangerous Planescape setting in this 50+ hour RPG classic.

This is Planescape: Torment like you’ve never seen before.

Story:
"What can change the nature of a man?"

You are the Nameless One, a hulking figure covered in scars and tattoos collected over the course of countless lives—none of which you can remember, but are now coming back to haunt you. You are prodded awake by Morte, a floating skull and keeper of secrets, to embark on an adventure taking The Nameless One from the dirty streets of Sigil into the mysterious Outer Planes and even into the depths of Hell itself.

In your search for answers, you'll find companions matching the bizarre nature of the planes: a chaste succubus who can kill with a kiss, a confused crossbow-wielding cube, a suit of armor animated by a spirit demanding JUSTICE, and more. With these companions and others at The Nameless One’s side, you will explore worlds in search of answers, all to discover that some destinies cannot be escaped and some memories cost more than an even an immortal can bear.

Changed this to one star even though it's a 5 Star game. This is because I can't actually play it. Once Mort talks to the nameless one at the start there is no dialog options or menu options. Have to force close. Please patch. Playing on Galaxy 5S. IWD works perfectly on it.

Needs adjustable size tap icons along left, right, and bottom-right side (journal, quick save, select all party, et al..). Tough to tap them sometimes, but not too bad. Otherwise very playable on 5.5" phone. Just may need to pause often in heat of battle to make sure properly coordinating attack. For some reason when first start to play, the frame rate is extremely slow. I just open the map once and then it's normal. Playing on Lenovo P2, Snapdragon 625. Watching CPU use shows this SOC well beyond powerful enough. Weak SOC, MT6582 or better should handle it fine.

The controls are a bit complicated compared to Baldur's Gate but the gameplay is rich and beautiful and the storytelling is great. Its a little bit of a lore dump at the beginning for new players but you start to get it later on. Love this game, and they did very well with the port. Five stars!

Having speed issues with gameplay on my Telefunken 10 inch tablet. Playing other games like dead trigger and odd world stranger, but don't have any lag issues.
Lex 3
A good game and lots of improvements from the original. Still needs some polish. Issues Raise dead dosent work when you move area (did in original) Where and when you can rest is illogical making mage gameplay hard.(orginal issue)

Don't purchase. The game is bugged to the point of unplayable in my phone and neither Google nor beamdog will refund the purchase. It's a shame, I loved torment and the bg port was fine. edit: The game moves very sluggishly, the best way I can describe it is the framerate drops to a near unplayable level. Even if I fight through that, anytime I open the map the game just crashes and I have to reboot my phone

The game itself is great, one of the classics, but the port has some issues. I'm playing on a Motorola Droid Maxx and as soon as Morte floats up to you in the opening cutscene, the game crashes, regardless of settings. Very disappointing.

I see a few complaints about a "crash" involving Morte at the game start. At first it got me too, then I remembered that you need to "click on" the red text. You have to always choose a responce even if there is only one choice. When red turns to white then you can choose continue to further the dialog. The issues with "selecting" certain doors or boxes exists in the PC title. You may he able to correct this by making the touch areas anywhere near a door or known hard spot "always" make it blue and actionable? Just a suggestion VS a very old original glitch. Sometimes even the mouse had a hard time finding the "box". Also, how to "right click"? This is a needed control. Maybe you can make a double tap = right clicking?
JC 3
I'll need to find a walkthrough. Seems like I'll everywhere I go outside the intro area that I die in a couple hits.
BJ 5
Some very minor audio chop when the game first starts but it's gone as soon as the opening video starts. Plays extremely smooth on a mid-range tablet. Definitely recommend for those who love these old school games!

The game is pretty good but I'm having a major bug rn involving the bloody handkerchief. I did everything required to get the bloody handkerchief but the option to get one isn't showing up for me
