Lot of fun. I like the speed of it. Some flash card apps are too slow. I like the way it knew some of the languages I'm learning in duolingo. Could be further improved by having a symbol of some kind next to those sets with sound. Especially for tonal languages or languages not written as they are spoken sound is essential. An easy exit button when you want to go and do something else would also be good. The usual back button press (on a Google Nexus 2013) didn't work for me - had to close the app. Looking foward to making a couple of sets of my own

Good but could be so much better. After answer is entrered on tests nothing happens - no confirmation if correct or not and no way to move on. Your just stuck on the first answer that you've typed in. You have to delete your entrey and select 'don't know' to move on but you never complete anything because your required to keep on trying to answer the damn questions. A 'back'button would be a boon too.

Great that it's finally on Android. However the app is pretty much half baked missing basic navigation. Just the simple back button is missing. To go from a deck back to the course, I have to go all the way to the top menu and come back. With the latest update it feels like things are back to the web app level. Back button takes you right back into the previous card after finishing a deck. This is just a lack of basic functionality

Takes a long time to load. It is not synced with your duoLingo account as to where you are in your lessons. Review is always good but the favorite option is only available for an entire deck instead of a single card that you might be having a problem remembering. It got stuck on the second deck and I could not use the back button or the home button. It isn't compatible with my tablet but duoLingo is? Not worth the data usage on my phone.

I've gotten a lot of use out of these decks in the past using the web browser. Now, though, I can't add custom images either through the app or the web site. The UI to select an image occasionally will respond. But after selecting the image to use nothing happens. The image search function will not work for my decks. Please fix this!

I love this addition to Duolingo, but a couple issues... 1) You should be able to hit the back button to get to the previous menu, and not have to return home each time to once again select your module. 2) Bluetooth audio is choppy and delayed in the app. Other than that, it's great!

I just finished the first Spanish lesson and I like the feel of the game. It seems a little odd there is no back button to return to the lessons but the overal experience so far is pleasant.

This is THE best App for learning things!! I absolutely love it. It's fun and you actually do learn. I mean, I am just speechless. Honestly. The cute owl Duo is my best friend :D

Embarrassingly slow load time. Even had to hard stop and restart it 3 times already! Love the Duolingo app, but this one wasn't ready for release to the masses. I could possibly understand this lag time if I was on an older, base model phone or a slow network. But I'm on a Pixel XL (Oreo) on an LTE network. Very disappointed. Update: The team very quickly fixed this issue. It is flowing far more smoothly now. Haven't used it enough yet to feel comfortable (because I couldn't use it at all earlier today), but bumping it up from 1 star to 4 stars for now. Nice turnaround time on responding to user problems.

Amazing concept, but I can't see myself using this as long as there is no integration with Duolingo. It's a massive pain to have to go through every lesson from the start again with no "test out" option like there is in Duolingo, and then to have to review each lesson individually instead of being able to select a "revise German" option or something similar. Things I like: + Runs smoothly + Words match those you would learn from Duolingo +++ Allows typing in answers, this is much more effective for learning than choosing from a list (and the main reason I want to use this app) Things I don't like: - doesn't integrate with your Duolingo progress - have to re do every lesson again from the beginning - no option to revise all cards from a group (e.g. "revise German") - animations take too long, will probably add up to a lot of time if you do a significant amount of cards.

Great selection of decks. My last two flashcard apps were clunky and confusing at times. This is very clean and quick. I hope they add more game modes. Need to work on the 'back' button. When I finish a lesson, 'back' should take me to the lessons menu, not back into the completed lesson.
