  • JAM Voice review: This isn't your ordinary Bluetooth speaker

At first glance, the JAM Voice Speaker appears to be just another unremarkable Bluetooth speaker. Its rubberized black rim and glossy body are pretty but very understated - it won't catch many glances when it's sitting on your end table - it has solid heft and a premium feel. Powering on, we're t

**6/27/17 Bug Temp Fix** Great app up until the last update which causes an immediate crash upon launch. Thanks to another user's helpful review, I can confirm that there is a temporary fix. The bug has something to do with bluetooth functionality and when the feature is disabled before launching the application, no crash occurs. You can enable bluetooth again after the launch has completed.

Every aspect of this POS app and service needs to be scrapped and the Geniuses behind it kicked to the curb. Google needs to decide Today, if their goal is to sell the "Social" children with the attention span of Gnats, individual songs here and there. For their 50 song, flavor of the week libraries they wont ever listen to. Or, if their service is to sell music aficionados a monthly subscription to use how they see fit. They have proven they can't do both and the Former is where googles emphasis is. Every aspect of this app is geared towards the ""Social" customer who has no library, No taste and needs to be told what is the current flavor of the week Song or Artist. If you are a Music Enthusiast, you will deal with one issue after another, ZERO customer support and never ending frustration with Google. If you want "Curated Playlists" By some expert - It's for You If You want the music they want you to listen to Front and Center - It's for You. If You want endless Recommendations, hogging Androids Limited Memory Resources - It's for you. If you want to Dig into menus for Your Own Music - It's for you If you want songs to restart after 20 seconds - It's for you. Get the hint?

It doesn't show music that has recently been added. Instead it keeps shows albums that have been on my phone for a very long time as new additions. Long ago this wasn't an issue but it's been like this for over a year. Even if a take everything off and reinstall it the same album come up. Its really annoying! Imagine how great this app could be if Goggle used half the resource, money and time on this app as they do gathering personal information on it's users. Oh to dream!

I do enjoy the app. I use it everyday, but the podcast function leaves much to be desired. For instance, it doesn't seem to play one podcast after another. I listen to podcasts at work, and I am currently listening to all of the 99% Invisible podcasts, and the early ones are only 5-10 mins. long, so every 5 or 10 minutes I have to grab my phone and play the next one. It may seem trivial, but it is rather annoying while trying to get work done. On that note, there seems to be a glitch that happens whenever I pick a new episode to play. It appears to load the episode, but doesn't start playing it, so you have to then hit play again to get it to start. A couple more tweaks and I would be happy to give it five stars.

Not good at all used to love it for years now it plays when it wants not when ask to. I can not use it for my group exercise class. Never able to play down loaded music. I have been on the phone with them a few times about this. Uninstalled updates and reinstalled, cleared cache, refreshed. Its just bad now. I have to use my wife's spotify now for class this morning, the google music app won't even open, and the worse part about it is I listened to it in the car on the ways here.

App is great, but latest update (06/27/2017) has completely broken it. Force closes immediately on launch. Restarted device and cleared cache on app. Nothing helps. Please roll back to previous version until fix is deployed ! **TEMP FIX**: Turn off Bluetooth on your device. Launch the app and re-enable Bluetooth to connect to speaker/headphones. This seems to work for now as a workaround to the Force Close issue. Google please deploy permanent Fix ASAP!!

Crashtastic Removing a song from a playlist works about one in three times. Downloading stalls and never recovers. I'm a paying subscriber on a stock Nexus. This app should work! Update 6/27, app won't even start. Yes, I rebooted my phone, Win 95-style.

Not working after last update, crashes instantly after launching. Galaxy S8+ It worked great with the previous version, I used it daily. Now I can't even listen to a song, guessing google will give me a month's free (lmao) since I'm paying £15 a month

Love Google play music. Use it daily for all my music. Radios are not as good as Spotify and end up skipping half the songs. I prefer it over Spotify however as the UI is clean and very easy to use. Needs a better social aspect to it though. Such as what people in my area are listening to and so forth. Also latest update makes app unusable. Very disappointed and haven't been able to listen to any music for nearly a day

It's features are great, it can do everything I want it to do. Unfortunately the user interface is just so annoying and ugly. The colours are bright so at night it's hard to look at. There needs to be a clean way to view things instead of the giant cards. When the asthetic is so crowded it really brings down the experience of using the app, and even makes it inconvenient to find what I'm looking for when I want it.

Edit: since today's update I can't even launch it! Shuts instantly when opened. If you subscribe you won't look back. Couple of glitches now and again when skipping songs occasionally it plays silence for until you skip back to the start of the song. Update : the latest update breaks the widgets... Rolled back to factory and its working fine
