F A N T A S T I C! This FREE app was wonderful and now is exceptional... extraordinary! What are the poor reviews on about? I don't have a good connection (1mbs) and it's quick. My phone is ordinary - cheap! And all the new features work smoothly. Oh, and it DOES import KML and KMZ files (look in MyPlaces to import YourPlaces.... Duh!). Thanks Google!

Thank you Google to let us all indians to have the previledge of using Google Earth. I was waiting for it on my Nexus 6 since i bought it. Due to some technical and regional reason my device didn't had the authority to use this app. But now all is well. A BIG Thanks again 🙏 🙂

Would like to view older satellite images. I'm curious as to being able to view the physical changes year-to-year of the ecosystem surrounding my property. There is a marsh close by I've witnessed its changes during my life. Curious what it may have looked like in my father's or Father's father's time. If there ever were such images or availability? Just curious. Not really a complaint. More of a suggestion perhaps. Otherwise very nice app

Good idea but a complete waste of time when using 8 year old images on aerial photography! This is SO OUT OF DATE IT'S POINTLESS!!! Why are you using OLD info? Surely you have more upto date images? But of course silly me you want us to PAY for that privilege! Loke you dont get enough of my money already??? The images suck pointless!!!

Google Earth is phenomenal. It really changes your perspective on the world. The detail is insane. The only issue I have noticed is that if you do searches too quickly, the app will crash. This has been happening on the Pixel XL. I do have it set to the highest detail so the app is pretty much using all available RAM.

I'm only an occasional GE user so hadn't seen what appears to be some trophy wife's idiot-son-from-a-previous-marriage's attempt at image sharpening until today. What's next? Degrade it until it's as useless as Google Maps and then offer paid upgrades? Google Search is turning into a teenage pothead half-assed slacker too. Thanks for listening.

The resolution is terrible now. It used to be a pleasure just navigating and stopping at random places. Now it is very blurred if you want to see any detail. Looks like I will have to delete Google applications.

it WAS really good.. The quality of the video has decreased recently. After the last update it crashes all the time. When you enter a search, it keeps rotating untill you turn the 3D off, but then the marker disappears and you lose track of the location. All these damn pictures keep popping up that I have to x out of. Doesn't Google make anything that doesn't irritate to no end? Why can't well enough be left alone? Now the app is a pain in the ass. Guess I'll just have to use something else.

I keep getting stranded in cities I'm not familiar with. Frustrating and scary. It doesn't tell me to turn when I should! Or it shows I should keep going forward instead of turning and then as I pass my turn it shows me I must turn around. It used to be pretty darn good. Not sure what happened?

But it has messed up the menu after the update please fix error. And plus it has gone all haywire and crazy when searching place of countries. And 3D building blocks are gone for the UK for example Wembley stadium and London eye, why has this happen, please someone fix the entire Google earth app. This Google app has improved over the years but there's one thing missing Wembley stadium is not in 3D. I've just noticed that there's no road names in London England and in entire UK, please edit and add road names.

How do you have Google Maps panning and scrolling around flawlessly and yet release your "new" Google Earth app version with the jankiest scrolling ever?! Why on Earth did you add a large deadzone to the pan/scroll control? It makes it slam to life part way through a finger drag. Terrible. If I'm supposed to be effortlessly exploring the map, why do you have such a terrible/non-existent map inertia after a quick flicking motion? Why does the map motion suddenly slam to a stop so quickly after I try to scroll like this? Maps was working fine for eons, yet your Google Earth team releases the most un-buttery smooth control scheme ever for an app that SHOULD have been a no-brainer.
