The game is a classic. But it is seriously let down by the controls. An example is the double jump which hardly works smoothly. Please improve the controls to a satisfactory level so this classic can be enjoyed by older and younger generation of gamers alike. If future classic games are in the pipeline, please consider releasing the Streets of Rage series (1-3) and Shinobi 3. Thank you Sega. Have been a fan since the 80s.

Double jump is so hard to time and touch screen doesn't make it any easier. After I get past stage 2, smooth sailing. Couldn't beat Spider-Man at 8yo, but he's grass now that im at 27

There is a problem with the controller. Every time I try to go backward, the controller makes me go forward. I got to fight with the controller to make myself go backward. It kept jumping when i dont want it to. It would have been a great game if that was not an issue. Bring back a lot of memories.

Look I love this game! The original gameplay was great, this is a true classic. Please Sega don't ruin your classic games surely you can do something about the horrendous mobile controls. I've downloaded all your games so far and apart from crazy taxi you've ruined my childhood so far. I'm trying to persevere with the controls, but you press jump and accidentally shoot or power it's frustrating I can't build momentum. I like a difficult game but not wonky controls.

Blast from the past! This game is just as fun as i remember but, I have to be honest, I changed the difficulty setting to Easy and used the Shurikon cheat (unlimited ammo). The fact you can't move the on-screen controls is a letdown but toggling which button does what stopped me accidentally knocking the Samsung menu button every time I wanted to jump. Looking forward to see what the next SegaForever game will be. Streets of Rage!

LOVE SEGA, SUCH GREAT MEMORIES BEING A KID! Keep bringing them back. I agree with people though the double jump is so hard too time correctly lol 😊😊😊
Abdul 2
The controls were really awful as you can't perform a double jump properly and also cannot move your player backwards as the game automatically redirects you forward. The only time the player can track back is when you crouch walk shinobi in that direction. Sega I appreciate you guys releasing the classics, but spend more time in testing and thawing out these bugs as consumers don't like being given a half functioning solution.

Revenge of Shinobi is a great, but tough platformer. Unfortunately, this release is a letdown. Touch controls aren't comfortable for the experience, and between both a Galaxy Note and an LG V20, there was an immense stutter that affected sound and video. This needs to be dealt with before I can see this release being good.
Andrew 2
Emulation is abysmal. Controller layout is wrong way round on nvidea shield controller. Easily emulated better on any other emulator. No excuse considering it is a official Sega product and also the only thing you get is ads lol over any other emulator. Not even any achievements.

Revenge of Shinobi is my favourite game ever. This version, however, is utterly unplayable. Please fix the awful lag and do this game justice.

Lags too much. If the jerkiness of game doesn't drive you NUTS...the stuttering music will. Too bad. The actual classic version is awesome
