Description & Details

Lead your cult and summon the evil gods in this strategy card game.

Ever wanted to start your own cult? Or wished you could summon eldritch horror-terrors from the abyssal depths from whence we all came? Well here's your chance!

Underhand is a CCG (Cultist Card Game) that puts you into the role of a cult leader. Your job is to manage your cult's resources effectively as you respond to different event cards drawn from the deck. How you respond to these events will determine how far you'll go-- will you succeed in summoning one, or maybe even all of the Ancient Ones? Or will you be just another would-be upstart falling prey to the trials and tribulations of time? Only you can decide!

"A unique take on a familiar concept" - Cultaku

"The visuals alone are incredibly impressive, let alone the gameplay" - Daily Foresight

"Really eye-catching, and the premise is just phenomenal" - Lovecraft Life

Whether you're facing a treacherous obstacle or encountering an unexpected boon, every decision you make has tangible consequences manifesting as the current state of your hand. Underhand will have you on the edge of your seat as you walk the tightrope between having too many resources and not enough.

With stunning, almost eerie visuals and sound, the stage is set for the perfect atmospheric experience. Every now and then, the in-game radio will react to your choices and broadcast the game-world's current state of affairs as affected by you, mastermind cult leader supreme-- all so you can keep up with the latest happenings and make more happenings... well, happen.

Do you know any other games that let you run a cult? How about ones that also let you summon unfathomably monstrous deities? Or ones that let you do both of those packaged into one wholesome, sleek, mobile card game experience? Whatever else you want to say about Underhand, it's irrefutably the first of its kind. Play now, so you can proudly proclaim that you were into it well before it amassed a cult following!

Fantastic theme. A MUST for solitaire fans or completionists. It has a unique multi-win-condition set up with more becoming open to you as you play. HOWEVER, there are some very grindy ones that gatekeep progress. You can play for a long time without losing, but never win. It's possibly TOO skill based, lol. ... except for the semirandomized decks. Some decks are easier for some win conditions than others, but in a way, that makes a satisfying metagame. Also, it's a little buggy.

I really enjoyed this unique solitare game. I'm still confused by which are recurrent cards, and which are only one use cards. An improvement would be to perhaps put a small indicating mark in a corner. Although this is meant to have high replay value, i lost the urge to play once I've unlocked all the Gods. The unlocking of new gods made it feel like a campaign and that made it engaging.

Beautiful game! Just what I've always wanted. I hope the devs keep working on it. Give us more gods to summon in the future. The only problem I can think off is the one with foresight cards. When you use the foresight ability, the cards don't show up, and neither does the cross button appear. Not unlit I go into that menu and come back out does the crowd button show up. And even then, the cards don't, no matter what. But over all, lovely game. Please give us more.

Really interesting premise - story driven card game with nice looking graphincs, smooth UI and good writing. I really liked that each game is different based on the cards you choose and are dealt. My only grievance is that despite the game having the "Insert X" mechanic, it is not used consistently - some cards do not have this and still get reshuffled back while some get discarded on first play. Please make this more obvious for us!

At first I thought it would be just a game like Reigns, in which the player make choices and try to balance the elements. It turned out to be much more than that. The events deck is reshuffled - less unpredictability; cards in the events deck are different in each play - no 2 games will be the same. Best of all, I've just discovered how important the choices we make during the Expeditions are. A hidden gem among the solitaires. Very unique and addictive.

Fun concept and cool art. Some bugs, like freezing if you use foresight if there aren't at least 3 cards to draw, and how you can discard progression cards and end up stuck. Would also suggest a way to double tap the option you want to automatically select cards without dragging, and a setting that removes/speeds up the animation. Completing all six god progressions was anticlimactic. Still, an enjoyable couple of hours.

It is an awesome game! Would totally pay for it if it had the option. Great graphics, wonderfully stylised, and overall a good concept. The only things I would change it that it has a small glitch when you "look into the future" in that sometimes it will just go blank. Also, I wish there was more. After getting all the cards it felt a lot less good.

Graphic and gameplay is great. But why is there no option to continue game? Played for 10 minutes, after going back to app like 4 hours later, had to start over. If gameplay is longer than 5 minutes imho it has to have auto save mechanism

Great game! I thought I got stuck due to a bug, but I was just missing an event trigger after summoning the second god. Good graphics, fantastic deck-building gameplay, and a fun theme. Only issues are a few non-game-breaking UI bugs, like the foresight-style cards not always working properly. And the voiceover radio broadcast things are weird and can be startling.

A very unique experience! The concept is amazing and it provides a great balance of challenge and progress. The difficulty is basically perfect! My only problem is the slight repetitivness... If there were a few more cards, it might provide a greater variance, which would make this game virtually perfect! Other than that, fantastic game! Beautiful art, by the way!

Amazingly simple concept executed extremely well and complex. The art is up to par as well. The game UI is also very intuitive and easy to figure out, with small exceptions. And last but not least - the sound design. Very on-spot sound effects for the cards and game overall, but the voice work is the diamond in the crown. The stories told while you play the game through radio-station-like interrupted signals, get you in the mood of the game so much. Kind of giving you that nice feeling of a good story based podcast. Difficulty is fairly high, and thats cool cause a great challenge makes it interesting. Very pleased with your game. Congrats !
