Description & Details

Fast & always private. Automatically block ads & trackers w the privacy browser

Browse like no one’s watching. The new Firefox Focus automatically blocks a wide range of ads and online trackers — from the moment you launch it to the second you leave it. Easily erase your history, passwords and cookies, so you won’t get followed by things like unwanted ads.

“Private browsing” on most browsers isn’t comprehensive or easy to use. Focus is next-level privacy that’s free, always on and always on your side — because it’s backed by Mozilla, the non-profit that fights for your rights on the Web.

AUTOMATIC PRIVACY
• Blocks a wide range of common Web trackers without any settings to set
• Easily erases your history — no passwords, no cookies, no trackers

BROWSE FASTER
• By removing trackers and ads, Web pages may require less data and load faster

MADE BY MOZILLA
• We believe everyone should have control over their lives online. That’s what we’ve been fighting for since 1998.

  • Firefox Focus (review)

Firefox focus is a variant of the Firefox browser that provides much improved security features. It can be downloaded on Google play and IOS. Only needing ~7MB of storage, meaning that it is super light - at the expense of other features, which we'll come to later. Now when I first saw this, I th

The Google Play Store is filled with many apps, which is great for consumer selection, but can often make app discovery difficult. Some apps just never make it to our homescreen. That's why we've compiled a list of this weeks hottest Android apps that have most likely gone under the radar or are so

  • Mozilla’s Firefox Focus lets Android users browse privately

Good news Android users, Mozilla’s private Firefox Focus browser, formerly exclusive to iOS, just landed in the Google Play Store. And it’s a very light download – only 4MB. Unlike other alternatives, the mobile browser automatically blocks a wide range of online trackers, thus allowing you to su

Mozilla killed browser.privatebrowsing.autostart from Firefox Android release so they can make a cruddy secondary-browser and call themselves makers of "The Privacy Browser". Adblock for reals, test on adult sites, see Tblop. Run on KitKat! Tor compatible. If this browser aint workin for ya, get Firefox Beta, outfit with your setup and extensions, and use that as your Private browser. Allow about:config or else the browser isnt private! Block pop-ups, block images, block WebRTC for VPN users, block JavaScript. Firefox Hocus Focus blocks tracking you from a Ghostery database to track you by Mozilla, Ghostery/Evidon, EFF/NSA, & Google.

[FIXED] 1 problem i found is the Gboard incognito mode is not working with the browser. The App clearly says private browsing mode. When im using Google Chrome incognito mode "Gboard incognito" mode is working. Please fix this problem

If this browser supports multiple tabs, that's it I'm done looking for the best browser on the Play Store. Please make it possible and never add anything extra, keep it simple. ❤

Good for 90% of my browsing needs. If I need my browser to save the password, chances are there is an app for that service. Firefox Focus is a great fit for the default browser - it's fast and leaves no trace when called from other apps. The only missing functionality is bookmarks. I want them in the browser, not on my already crowded home screen.

Best browser ever had. Fast & easy to use. I like the simple home screen and the benefit is it directly open keyboard without clicking on search bar. The problem is it can not block pages opening is torrent sites and we can not have more than tab in this browser. So it directly opens that ad page and so we can not download torrent file. Please provide 2-3 tab option so ads can open in new tab(or block ads completely) and we can browse torrent sites. BTW I liked it and main advantage is it requires low space.

I like privacy and all but it's still using the same blocking it uses on firefox reg or beta or aurora. All of which allow bookmarks and sync where as this one doesn't. Add sync and bookmarks and I will probably use this instead but till then I am going to keep configuring my settings and using incognito modes. Edit: Also no matter what a browser says it is no replacement for a good proxy. Even Tor goes through proxies.

I love the fact that Mozilla has made such a fast, simple, minimalistic mobile browser. I actually prefer it to regular Firefox. However, it sometimes doesn't render certain websites properly or in their mobile version as they should. Additionally, to further show that it truly has user privacy in mind, Mozilla should consider adding more privacy respecting search engines as options to this browser. Qwant, searX, and StartPage come to mind. I do agree with another reviewer who stated the search bar was more easily accessible from the middle of the screen. I'm also of the opinion that the icon was better shapeless. The round icon isn't as aesthetically pleasing.

this browser is almost perfect for me. its easy to use and useful. ill give 5star if it can save your choosen link in history on app url when typing and not make that link become shortcut on homescreen that visible to everyone who look at my phone. its so hard every time i must type a whole url to access my fav website. at least i want this app to remember link that i choose to remember.

Update: BRING BACK THE OLD ICON!! Stop pushing hidden updates that don't change anything, and hirer a better designer. Does exactly what I needed. Wish Open and Erase options were switched in the drop-down notification bar, always accidentally deleting my page when I'm really trying to go back to it. Tabs would be a cool addition but definitely not necessary.
