Description & Details

Clean up your phone, find files fast & share files offline

Files Go is a new storage manager that helps you free up space on your phone, find files faster, and share them easily offline with others.

FREE UP MORE SPACE
In just a few taps, you can free up space more quickly and easily than ever: Delete old photos and memes from chat apps, remove duplicate files, erase unused apps, clear your cache and more. If you're like our beta testers, you can save on average 1GB of space in the first month.

CHECK YOUR STORAGE
Use Files Go to see how much free space is left on your phone and SD card. Easily transfer files to an SD card to free up your phone’s storage, right from the app.

SMART RECOMMENDATIONS
Get helpful suggestions of files to erase before you run out space. Files Go recommendations get smarter the more you use the app.

FIND FILES FASTER
Save time looking for photos, videos, and documents on your phone. Files Go uses filters rather than folders so your stuff is organized more intuitively.

SHARE FILES OFFLINE
Share your pictures, videos, documents, or apps with others nearby who also have the app. With speeds up to 125 Mbps, it’s fast, free, and it works without the internet, so it doesn’t cost mobile data.

ENCRYPTED FILE SHARING
Files Go’s offline file sharing is secured with WPA2 encryption, providing more secure file transfer.

BACKUP FILES TO THE CLOUD
If you want to keep a file forever, select it from the Files menu and back it up to Google Drive or any other cloud storage app.

EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE STORAGE MANAGEMENT
Files Go takes less than 6MB of storage on your phone. And there’s no malware or bloatware to affect your phone’s performance.

Really nice so far, but rather basic. For instance it needs to show "all apps" including ones that are installed on the manufacturer "partition", such as facebook installed in the Samsung root. In order for me to clear caches of all apps, i need to go back to use the stock app settings section. Defeats the purpose of needing this app. However, i believe Google will eventually make this app the 'standard' so i will keep it installed, anticipating future updates.

I gave one star because some developers only replies to negative review. This app truly deserve 5. 1. Please add feature to browse both storage devices from the app startup screen, by pressing storage icons. 2. Please also display remaining amount of storage space on both storage locations. If these changes are made I'll come back and gave a 5 star rating.

Following improvements are required: 1. Entire split of storage space by different media, app and system files 2. Preview feature before deleting media and document files 3. Recover option in case of accidental deletion 4. Option to set up automatic cleaning reminders or auto cleaning at scheduled times 5. Option to directly upload files to YouTube/GooglePhotos/GoogleDrive etc...

Great little app to easily remove junk and free up lots of space. I never had this much space free in my device in the last three years. Used several apps that claim to do this but would duck the blood out of battery in the process and in reality would not do much. This one is easy on battery and is effective on space freeing process

It's Google. I like it. However, it advises me to rid myself of my SD Maid key as an unused app. The key gives me the full app (paid for). I'd like some way to stop this from appearing. Otherwise - an excellent app for freeing-up needed space.

Just be clear this isn't an app that clears out junk files or move apps to your SD card so you can fit more apps on your phone. It is an app that is designed to save phone space by moving things like pictures and videos to your SD card and showing apps you don't use so you can choose if you want to delete them. tl;dr IT IS NOT A CLEANER APP BUT IT DOES HELP YOU STAY ORGANIZED.

Great app. Basic functions to clean up space. The real must have feature is the one to send/receive files that ease the headache of android beam and vendor partial implementation (e.g., Huawei)

One ⭐ only for design. But other features not working properly. Like we find some duplicate files but don't compare between 2 and more files. How we know your app find app files is duplicate. And add trash for backup safety. And many more thing if you want you.... i don't believe google Engineer devlop this type of cheap tools app. First time i found error in google products.
ANIKET 5
I give review to too less apps but this app made me do so..... So much advertising of it made me eager to download it and it's so worth downloading Man.... I got 3gb extra place in just 5 min... It segregate all the non used things, more space consuming, documents, images, videos in such a good manner....great concept.... Love u google 🙌🙌❤❤❤

Some nice features! But NOT a File Manager. There's a folder entitled "APPS", but it isn't loading even one of my apps! Big frustration! The Files-Go description states the following features: "Erase Unused Apps, Clear Your Cache and More." As well as not loading any of my apps, there's no Cache Cleaner, as promised, either. Supposed to tap on Storage, as directed, for "Clear Cache" to appear. Nothing available in Settings, to activate either function. Read Help info ... But doesn't explain. Guess I'll keep for a little while, to see if it's been fixed.

Please fix this asap: always showing 'please choose top-level folder of sd card' while moving files from phone to sd card. Please fix this. I changed the settings of documents from installed apps. But again showing like this... ??????
