Description & Details

Microsoft Edge, now on Android, offers continuous browsing across your devices.

Microsoft Edge, now available on Android, creates one continuous browsing experience for Windows 10 users across their devices. Content and data sync seamlessly in the background, so users can browse across devices, without skipping a beat.

Familiar Microsoft Edge features like the Hub allow users to organize the web in a way that cuts through the clutter, making it easier to find, view and manage their content on-the-go.

Microsoft Edge is designed for Windows 10 users to browse the web how they need to, wherever they are, without disrupting their flow.

Continue on PC: Go anywhere and pick up where you left off by seamlessly moving content between your mobile device and PC (requires Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update).

Data Sync: Your favorites and reading list are synced across your devices, so no matter the device, your browser is always personalized to you.

Hub View: With your favorites, reading list, history and books all in one place, finding and managing your content is made simple.

Reading View: Reorganize the content on a webpage to make it easier to focus on what you’re reading.

QR Code Reader: Easily read QR codes at the touch of a button. Microsoft Edge will pull up the reading and information right onto your screen.

Voice Search: You can now use your voice to search the web. Ask a question or speak a prompt to use the web in more natural, familiar ways.

InPrivate: When you browse with InPrivate mode, your browsing data (like your history, temporary internet files, and cookies) isn't saved on your PC once you're done.

Solid enough. Uses Chromium under the hood so it's alright.
Luis 4
The reading option is the best.

Fine. Just needs more options. I use duck duck go(if you haven't used it, try it) not Google or bing so I would like to have the option to add it manually. I would also like to have a different start page than msn. Or at least make that start page fully customisable (with privacy as well, no MSN cookies). I hope you will take on board some of my points.

Options? Needs option to show tabs on top. Needs option to block ads, really needs an ad blocker. Have to say that twice. Needs to be able to delete cookies and not cookies and data. It's really a bare bones browser. For a small startup company it would be a decent start. For Microsoft not so much for me you perfected the browser with ie. Would have preferred Microsoft to bring ie to Android but it's a start. Hopefully you will give us more options and control.

I am dumbfounded. No words can express it. How long has this been around? I can see anything I want. I can't wait to show every one of my family and friends so they can all have a piece of that pie. They will be more than happy to. Especially after I show them how good it works. I can't wait to spread the news. Microsoft, you are geniouses. I will never touch a Google product again.

Developers, this app requires huge amount of bug fixes like it lags too much... ; you should improve the UI, you should add more features like chrome and you should make this app for fluent. Otherwise, Browsing is too fast as compared to chrome which we need. And I also believe in the security features of Microsoft.
Chukwudi 4
Great app. Immediately switched from Chrome to this. One thing I would like to point out though...when a new tab is opened it opens to the left of the original (in the tabs viewing area), but when I want to go to the new tab from the original tab I have to swipe left at the top of the page instead of right. You should either change the direction the new tab opens in, or change the direction the user needs to swipe to change tabs.
Brian 5
Great browser that VERY quickly replaced Chrome on my device. Tabbed browsing is excellent, being able to see all my open tabs in 1 place at the same time makes it very easy to look at what I want and close what I don't. I absolutely hated the way Chrome handled tabs. I also like having the option of a dark theme. Great feature that more apps need.

Windows 10 recommends I add a phone to use new & great features. To add a phone it requires me to input my phone number and receive a text that I then click on to add the device. So I put in my number and recieve a text and basically it gets Microsoft edge installed on my phone, it does not link the device. SCAM!
Shahaan 4
It's a nice browser but the only issue is switching between tabs. Having to tap all the way on the to left is not as accessible as tapping at the bottom. A good solution would be to put the tabs on the bottom in the tab menu, and allowing for tab switching by swiping left and right on the bottom tool bar.
Bryan 2
Lousy options.. Of course Microsoft takes the oppty to shove MSN in your face once again. Zero home page options. The only useful feature is continue on pc. Not really worth the exposure to msn though.
