Open the gateways between worlds, Heroes at your side.

Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series is now reimagined for smart devices.

Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go gameplay. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before!

This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases.

■ An epic quest

A world with two kingdoms: the Emblian Empire, which wishes to rule all worlds, and the Askran Kingdom, which stands in its way.

You are a summoner with the special ability to call upon legendary Heroes from different Fire Emblem worlds. In order to save the Kingdom of Askr from destruction, join the Order of Heroes and face a never-ending challenge.

■ Intense battles

Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon—and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch and drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy.

■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes

The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and a few brand-new Heroes created by artist Yusuke Kozaki, known for his work on Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army.

■ Many modes let you play again and again

In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. Also, free and timely updates will continue to add new Hero characters, content, and other surprises to keep you engrossed with hours of additional gameplay.

● Story Maps: The story brings together new Hero characters along with familiar faces from the Fire Emblem series. Lead your army to victory to save the Kingdom of Askr.

● Training Tower: Engage in battle scenarios of varying difficulty that you can play over and over to earn rewards and experience (EXP) for your allies. Each time you take on these maps, the enemies and terrain change to offer a new challenge.

● Arena Duels: Fight against your rivals around the world. Your high score and ranking will determine your rewards—items that can increase your Heroes' abilities.

● Hero Battles: Under Special Maps, discover various battle scenarios that are available for a limited time. Defeat the Heroes who oppose you to convince them to join you as an ally.

Battle together with your favorite Heroes, watch them grow, and enjoy an all-new adventure that opens up a path to the future.

[What is Fire Emblem?]

Think Fate/Grand Order, but with Fire Emblem characters and mechanics. It's great and addictive, though the story may be lacking in comparison. The gacha system in this game can be rough, but it is certainly forgiving. Definitely worth a try if you love turn based strategy games, and a priority download for FE fans or others interested in the series.

I love Fire Emblem! This game has the characters we come to know and love. As someone who has played the games, this is also a must have. I love the battle animations and artworks too. And I live the summoning system and letting you have a free summon every time a new banner comes out. This is the few if not only game that does that and I really appreciate that! This game makes me want to play more

I love this game but the cores cost way too much. And if you've been playing for a while it's almost impossible to get the 5* units you're trying to roll. I did 5 sets trying to get the new years units and I didn't even get a different character that I didn't have let alone the the focus units. It's starting to be impossible to get new stuff without paying and that's not cool at all. Is bungie running the game now?

This is one of the very few games that don't require you to spend any money at all to progress. You can get everything and more for free. It's also one of those 4 games that I have kept coming back to play over since it was released. Simple but fun and engaging. It's great

I can't stop playing this game. It never gets boring because the game creators put new things in almost everyday. I may have just started a couple of months ago, (back when the brave heroes banner was still up) but this is a really fun game to play.

Highly addictive game with extremely random pulls. The gambling aspect of the game can be a huge issue for addictive personalities. My main issue is the ridiculously low pull rates. Out of 200 orbs, only two 5-star units were pulled. There's a point where the return is too low and dedicated users like me decide it's time to stop. Be careful with this game. It can be a money pit if you're unlucky.

Nintendo's mobile games are designed to replicate a signature gameplay element of a classic Nintendo series and, in doing so, remind players they want to play the full games. It's good marketing, and it makes for good mobile gaming, too. With Fire Emblem Heroes, Nintendo has replicated the satisfaction of the core of FE's tactical combat but with small groups of heroes (1 to 4) on small, mobile-friendly maps. It's a great idea, and it's paired effectively with a familiar F2P "gatcha" system of unlockable, classic FE characters. And the other F2P elements of the game design are refreshingly well-balanced. The stamina system is generous with play "energy," the game isn't too stingy with character-summoning orbs (and the occasional free summon), and you'll only spend money on the game if you want to. My only complaint is the cartoony art style, which I find slightly off-putting. Overall, this game is highly recommended. I wish all mobile, F2P games were this good.
Viviann 5
Its a really amazing game, but ever since the new update the game keeps crashing when I try to do anything. Also, whenever I try to go back into a battle, it wouldn't let me resume playing. There goes my stamina and exp :(

Would easily be 5 stars but why do j have to update right after starting the game. If the full game would just be downloaded from the play store it would be really helpful. One more thing, it seems like RNG is worse on android than iOS my pulls on iOS were amazing compared to what have gotten on android.
joel 5
Everything about is good now for the MOST part. I will just say, I've paid a bit of money, but the rates are not my friend, rates seem so low would definitely like 5 star rates to increase more than just .5% for every $10. Especially since most 5 stars are NOT in 4 star versions. Orbs are so expensive and heroes are not worth the money
Connor 1
Can't get anywhere; the game keeps crashing on me past the title screen (I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3). At least I could play to some extent before a certain update. Will rate higher when this issue is fixed.
