Description & Details

The horror game Lucius has been demade into a 2D retro, pixel art, adventure.

Acts and feels like a Point 'n Click adventure from the 1980's. It is a homage to the 1970's horror movies, where you get to experience the role of a true antagonist in a pure 2D pixel art form.

When Lucius was born on the June 6th, 1966, nobody expected him to be anything other than a normal little boy but everything changed on Lucius’ 6th Birthday,
when his true calling was revealed to him.

Equipped with supernatural powers, take control of Lucius as he begins his blood filled tour of horror through his own house, using Hell’s powers of telekinesis and mind control to orchestrate deadly accidents that will minimize the population of the Dante Manor one by one by one.

Key Features:

-Unique 2D horror adventure gaming experience
-2D Open World
-Uncinematic Cut-scenes with 16 colors and low amount of pixels.
-Breathtaking 80's Atmosphere and Stunning low-res Visuals
-Harness Supernatural pixel Powers, including Telekinesis and Mind Control
-Experience the terror of a classic tale from the horror movie genre

This is pretty awesome. Lots of fun. My only super minor complaint is that I didn't find any of the on screen controls to work the way I wanted them to. Lots of choices in control style though including controller(which I chose) so you might find one for you.

It's not a bad iteration of the game but I feel you lose a lot of the suspense from the original game.

Good idea, finicky controls Finicky controls keep this from being a great game. Also, the darkness mechanic doesn't really work when limited light and narrow halls are more confusing for players than helpful. Sometimes the game lags when using telekinesis or mistakes movement taps for zooming out.

Shiver Games knows what they're doing when it comes to stuff like this. The controls are easy to grasp, the art style is something right out of the retro 80s, and that's never a bad thing. Decent puzzles, and an interesting story. Do yourself a favor and buy this game!

I wasn't sure about this game at first from looking at the graphics but I found it to be really entertaining. Good story and puzzles were intuitive.

It's like playing a Commodore 64 game on a modern device, truly a unique experience you don't want to miss. The puzzles are the main highlights of this game. They are simple and direct yet challenging at the same time. It also features some great pixel art and soundtracks. If you're a retro fan, you will love this game :)

Worth support from me for buying this game for an $1
