Description & Details

Lead your cult and summon the evil gods in this strategy card game.

Ever wanted to start your own cult? Or wished you could summon eldritch horror-terrors from the abyssal depths from whence we all came? Well here's your chance!

Underhand is a CCG (Cultist Card Game) that puts you into the role of a cult leader. Your job is to manage your cult's resources effectively as you respond to different event cards drawn from the deck. How you respond to these events will determine how far you'll go-- will you succeed in summoning one, or maybe even all of the Ancient Ones? Or will you be just another would-be upstart falling prey to the trials and tribulations of time? Only you can decide!

"A unique take on a familiar concept" - Cultaku

"Astoundingly innovative! There's nothing quite like it" - Non-Euclidean Reviews

"The visuals alone are incredibly impressive, let alone the gameplay" - Daily Foresight

"Really eye-catching, and the premise is just phenomenal" - Lovecraft Life

Whether you're facing a treacherous obstacle or encountering an unexpected boon, every decision you make has tangible consequences manifesting as the current state of your hand. Underhand will have you on the edge of your seat as you walk the tightrope between having too many resources and not enough.

With stunning, almost eerie visuals and sound, the stage is set for the perfect atmospheric experience. Every now and then, the in-game radio will react to your choices and broadcast the game-world's current state of affairs as affected by you, mastermind cult leader supreme-- all so you can keep up with the latest happenings and make more happenings... well, happen.

Do you know any other games that let you run a cult? How about ones that also let you summon unfathomably monstrous deities? Or ones that let you do both of those packaged into one wholesome, sleek, mobile card game experience? Whatever else you want to say about Underhand, it's irrefutably the first of its kind. Play now, so you can proudly proclaim that you were into it well before it amassed a cult following!

I like this game. I really do, it's worth anyone's time to check out. Mechanics are easy to understand and engaging, cards are cool, each game is unique because of random mechanics added in the deck, the responses from the radio based upon your decisions was really cool, and the game is a good mix of luck and forethought. But as others have stated in reviews, I cannot make it past the second mission. I have tried reinstalling the game, going in without buffs, everything I can think of, and still haven't made it past the second God. If this is fixed, I would rate 5 stars. I really think the developers did good, I just wish I was able to fully experience it.

At first I thought it would be just a game like Reigns, in which the player make choices and try to balance the elements. It turned out to be much more than that. The events deck is reshuffled - less unpredictability; cards in the events deck are different in each play - no 2 games will be the same. Best of all, I've just discovered how important the choices we make during the Expeditions are. A hidden gem among the solitaires. Very unique and addictive.

A very interesting game. I found some bugs. When using the foresight ability, if there are less than 3 cards left in the deck, it will shuffle, and try to display the next 3 cards, but it wouldn't, and the game will get stuck, you need to pause, then resume to be able to close the foresight window and continue. Second, when trying to get the Jhai'ti god, in the second mission, you have options to reinvest or maintain business. Doesn't matter which option you take, it will say that you get the new mission, but the new mission will never appear in the deck, it will constantly repeat the second mission over and over again. Apart from those bugs, I haven't had any other problem, but the last one prevent me from continuing.

I really enjoyed this unique solitare game. I'm still confused by which are recurrent cards, and which are only one use cards. An improvement would be to perhaps put a small indicating mark in a corner. Although this is meant to have high replay value, i lost the urge to play once I've unlocked all the Gods. The unlocking of new gods made it feel like a campaign and that made it engaging.

A really great little game! My only complaint is that once you finish summoning the six gods, there isn't a whole lot of replayability. But, since it's a free game (with no ads!) I really can't complain too much! I very much look forward to seeing if they expand on this game at all, it would be great to see them add new gods and questlines.

I love the art style and the sound. The game can be challenging at times, but the games are casual and great to just pick up for 5 minutes. My only complaint would be after you play 10 or so games it becomes somewhat repetitive. You tend to draw the same cards/scenarios over and over, but overall - fun and beautiful to look at.

the art is stunning and i'd buy a deck if it existed. i love the audio as well and the game itself doesnt have a huge learning curve. its still a tricky game which is great! theres a glitch tho. if forsight is ur last move before u habe to reshuffle, it wont show u the next 3 cards... its kind of inconvenient but not the end of the world

Game deserves five stars. It's free and not riddled with distracting ads. The concept is unique but it's the little touches with the sound and art that make it unique. Only issues are the interface is a little buggy when you look into the future. Biggest downside is due to the focus on questlines that the replayability is low but the game is just so darn charming, and since I didn't pay for it, the developer deserves all five stars.

Amazing game. Great concept. Simplistic yet addicting game play. No ads at all which is a major bonus. I do wish there were more gods, even if it is an in game purchase for more gods. I would definity buy it. Please make more gods. Random blessing with a set god to summon would also be a fun challenge. Has a sound bug where music will lower when voice sound is to que even with voice setting off. Also foresight bugs when its the end of the deck.

the game concept was so good. free and no ads. the only problem is the foresight ability is buggy. sometimes it won't show the 3 next cards especially when only 2 cards left. it goes shuffling and won't show up. also i suggest if we fail kakureji last mission, it's better if we also revert back to 2nd mission, not only 2 god wrath cards. i wouldn't mind to donate / pay for additional content. also i wait for this card to have a printed version.

Awesome gameplay once you learn the system. ONLY complaint is that its not apparent how to progress. You basically have to search Google to see how to trigger events to summon all the gods. But for being free...excellent idea and theme. Hope another one is made and I would pay for a bigger game no problem!
